In 2018, the biggest battle of the Super Bowl wasn’t on the field. For the first time ever, two brands went head-to-head during the commercial break to launch two new products: Doritos Blaze and Mountain Dew Ice.

The two brands faced off in an epic rap battle starring Peter Dinklage and Morgan Freeman, who performed iconic rap verses from Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott. 

After the spot aired on Super Bowl Sunday, a Snapchat lens went live and let users pick a side and rap the same lyrics as Dinklage and Freeman. 

The Snap lens itself generated over 30 years of content which sounds like my personal hell, but that’s pretty sick in terms of UGC right?
